With stripes already confirmed to have been returning, the Iron have gone retro with this one, welcoming back the design from our first ever season at the Attis Arena, then known as Glanford Park.
The stadium has been a poignant piece of the club’s history over the past 36 years, and it was one asset the club nearly lost last season – even more reason to celebrate with a similar design to the very first kit that was seen emerge from the tunnel back in 1988.
With our 125th anniversary crest taking pride of place on the front of the shirt, working in collaboration with Technical Kit Partners Kelme, we have added a handful of unique features which again have been prominent to moving into our latest era.
One iconic feature of last season was the “United we Stand” logo, and that can be seen on the bottom striped panel on the back of the shirt, while there is a “125” logo above our new back of shirt sponsors; Abey Engineering Solutions. Prominent on the kit also is our front of shirt sponsors, HITEK Electronic Materials Limited, who continue with us for a second season.
A big thank you to all supporters that have pre-ordered our brand-new home kit so far on our blind sale. All of these orders will be dispatched first and made available as soon as the retail shipment arrives with us.
